ahead, a Berlin, Germany-based startup building a consumer mobile application, secured a pre-seed capital investment.

The money was raised from the Austrian VC Speedinvest, joined by TinyVC’s Philipp Moehring; the founders of Casper Sleep; Tier Mobility’s Dr. Julian Blessin, Helpling’s Philip Huffmann, and former N26 CTO Christian Rebernik.

ahead was founded in 2020 by CEO Kai Koch (ex-Helpling / Casper Sleep VP) and John Roggan as a self-improvement consumer mobile application, a digital coach providing bite-sized, smart insights that you can directly apply in real life.
