Amenitiz raised a $7.5 million seed round led by Point Nine Capital.

Amenitiz, a Barcelona, Spain-based software developer of solutions for the hospitality industry, announced that it raised as seed funding round closed at $7.5 million.

The money was raised from investors led by the German early stage VC Point Nine Capital, and joined by Otium and angels Avi Meir, Matt Robinson and Carlos Gonzales-Cadenas.

Jean-Christophe Taunay and Arthur Waller will also join the company as independent board members.

Amenitiz, founded in 2017 by CEO Alexandre Guinefolleau, developed a website-builder technology specifically targeted for the hospitality industry and also supporting hotel and holiday rentals owners in managing their online presence and distribution channels. The company says it works with around 3000 paying customers.

Amenitiz previously raised $700k back in 2019.
