Apicbase in a €4 million Series A round backed by Volta Ventures, Newion, AAA Fund and angel investors.
Apicbase, an Antwerp, Belgium-based SAAS developer of a restaurant management solution, announced completing a €4 million ($4.9M) Series A funding round.
Apicbase, founded in 2017 by Carl Jacobs, Julien Burlat, Kim Rothuys, and Pieter Wellens, developed a cloud-based food management software designed to efficiently manage the backend kitchen operations.
The tool centralises a wide range of kitchen processes, automated calculations, predictive purchasing, and analytics, as it aims to become a single management source for a Food and Beverage business operation. The service also integrates with other operational requirements including point-of-sale systems, accounting packages, and payroll. Customers include La Place, Be Burger, Sodexo, Not So Dark, Citizen M hotels and Tastyoo.
Apicbase previously raised about $2.5 million.
