Asistensi to raise $3 million from Alma Mundi Ventures and Mountain Nazca.

Asistensi, a Madrid, Spain-based insurance company, announced that it raised $3 million in capital.

The money was raised from the Spanish VC Alma Mundi Ventures and Mexico-based Mountain Nazca.

Asistensi, founded in 2019 by Andrés Simón González-Silén, Luis Enrique Velásquez Díaz and Armando Baquero Ponte, launched and sell insurance products for migrants, wheres they can buy medical insurance for people based in their country of origin. The insurance can be  purchased online without any medical admission tests.

Asistensi, which is operating in Latin America, also offers telemedicine services through its digital platform, at-home medical visits by local doctors, ambulance transfers, medicine delivery and special insurance coverage for hospitalisation.
