Barona acquired Swedish-based Ageris and AMGA, aims to become the leading Nordic customer service solutions provider.
Barona, a Helsinki, Finland-based group of companies, providing private employment and BPO services, announced that it acquired two Swedish companies, both based in Stockholm - Ageris Kontaktcenter AB (“Ageris”) and AMGA AB (“AMGA”).
The deal, which has financial details undisclosed, was made for acquiring 100% of the shares in the two companies.
The majority of the former owners of Ageris and AMGA including Ageris’s CEO Johan Johansson will continue in their operative roles after the transaction. The acquisitions will not have any immediate impact on the customers, employees and operations of Ageris and AMGA.
Ageris, led by CEO Johan Johansson, is an outsourcer which delivers customer service, proactive customer care and sales for clients who work strategically with customer loyalty.
The comapny has centers in Solna, Falun and Strömsund in Sweden, has several large and long-term clients and approx 250 employees.
AMGA, founded in 2014, is a private employment agency, with 75 employees based in offices from Stockholm and Malmö. The company provides recruiting services, specialized in customer service & sales as well as banking, finance and insurance.
Barona is a Nordic private employment agency, operating in 10 countries and in Finland in over 30 cities.
The company has 700 employees, and in 2018, had revenue of EUR 364M ($409M).
After the acquisition of Ageris and AMGA Barona’s annual revenue in Sweden will be close to SEK 250 million.
