BotGuard announced raising a fresh funding round.

BotGuard, a Talinn, Estonia-based cloud security startup, announced that completed a fresh capital round.

The money was raised from a range of new and existing investors, including Tera Ventures and FirlejKastory, a family office out of Poland. The company says that the deal values the company at €5 million and pst-transaction the founders and team retain over 75 percent of the company.

BotGuard, founded in 2019 by Nik Rozenberg and Denis Prochko, developed a digital fingerprinting technology that selectively blocks bad bot requests in real time.

The company aims to to protect businesses from theft and intruders by monitoring incoming traffic to the website, as it uses an engine in order to analyse visitors’ behavior, forms digital fingerprints for each one and stores the results in a database.

BotGuard previously raised €500k in seed funding back in 2020.
