Campanyon, an Oslo, Norway-based marketplace selling bookings to outdoors travellers, announced that it raised a NOK 5M ($595k) capital investment round.

The money was raised from local angel investors from Norway, including Even Heggernes, Trond Riiber Knudsen, Odd Reidar Øie, Aleksander Gamme, Jan Grønbech. Local accelerator Startuplab Founders also joined the round.

Campanyon, founded in 2020 by Kristian Qwist and Alexander Raknes, developed a digital marketplace that provides access to booking access land, campsites, RV parks, and glamping sites, as it aims to provide travel opportunities and unique outdoor accommodations through a single person-to-person booking platform. The platform works in the same way as Airbnb does, meaning that users can both register as a host, or book accommodation as a guest.

Total investments received (USD): 2.32M
