Cint acquired P2Sample.
Cint, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company operating a technology platform that helps with collecting data and insights in marketing research, announced the acquisition of P2Sample, a U.S.-based company with one of the most powerful programmatic sampling platforms in the consumer insights industry.
The deal, which has the financial details not disclosed, was made for 100% of the shares.
Following the transaction, P2Sample's co-founders Mathijs de Jong and Janna de Bruijne , will remain in senior leadership roles in the combined entity. They will also join the global management group and help lead key strategic initiatives across the collective organisation.
P2Sample, led by CEO Mathijs de Jong, operates the market research industry's most sophisticated sample and panel platform for clients seeking targeted respondents for consumer insights. P2Sample's fully-automated platform programmatically integrates with hundreds of sample suppliers and allows efficient management of proprietary panels. Post-acquisition Cint plans to divest the two P2Sample proprietary panel assets Points2Shop and SurveyRewardz.
Cint, founded in 1998 by Bo Mattsson and led by CEO Tom Buehlmann, built a data platform that helps companies with higher efficiency in gathering survey data. The company is owned by the Stockholm, Sweden-based private equity investment company Nordic Capital.
