Cint gets acquired by Nordic Capital

Nordic Capital, a Stockholm, Sweden-based private equity investment company, announced that it has bought the Swedish insights data tech company Cint for an undisclosed amount.

The transaction was made with a large shareholder group that includes Prime Ventures, Creandum, Cipio Partners, the founder, and a group of individual investors and employees.

Cint was founded in 1998 by Bo Mattsson and is led by CEO Morten Strand. Its primary product is OpinionHUB, a B2B exchange for seeking and collecting insights which it launched in 2005. The platform connects market research firms that need to access panellists for consumer research with the consumer panel-owning companies.

Cont is headquartered in Stockholm and it has 13 offices in major cities across Europe, North America and Asia-Pacific employing more than 140 people.
