Coherence in a $8 million funding deal led by Griffin Gaming Partners.
Coherence, a Malmö, Sweden-based SAAS startup developing a framework allowing gamers make and run scalable multiplayer games, secured a $8 million capital funding round.
The money was raised from investors led by Griffin Gaming Partners.
Coherence, founded in 2018 by CEO Dino Patti and David Helgason, developed an open, easy-to-use, and highly scalable framework ecompassing a network engine, a platform, and a series of tools and plugins used for building multiplayer games and virtual worlds. The product is yet to be launched and enables teams create virtual worlds to be integrated with existing popular game engines - the first is Unity's SDK.
Coherence previously raised $2.5 million in 2019, from investors including Firstminute Capital, Sisu Game Ventures, David Helgason and Paul Heydon.
