Energyworx to get €1M from henQ.

Energyworx, an Utrecht (Houten), The Netherlands SAAS developer of a energy data management and energy intelligence platform, raised €1 million ($1.1M) in Series A funding.

The money was raised from investors led by henQ.

The proceeds will be used to accelerate growth and scale its U.S. and European operations, including the opening of a new office in San Francisco.

Energyworx, founded in 2012 by Arjan Berkenbosch, Edwin Poot, Erik van Wijk, Marcel Smit and Pieter Ennes, and led by CEO Marcel E. Smit, built a SAAS platform for energy data management and energy intelligence solutions, which utilizes big data and machine learning to allow utility companies to navigate and monetize the energy transition in a NoOps, server-less architecture, and with a continuous release cycle.
