Enfuce raised €7 million in Series B funding led by Tencent.
Enfuce, a Helsinki, Finland-based provider of payment processing services, announced completing a €7M ($8.3M) capital funding round.
The money was raised from China-based Tencent Holdings, which invested €5 million, and from existing shareholder Maki.vc, which participated to the round with €2 million.
Ling Ge, Chief European Representative at Tencent, will join Enfuce’s Board of Directors, contributing with strategic guidance for the management.
Enfuce, founded in 2016 by Monika Liikamaa, CEO Denise Koskinen and William Ekström, offers payment and open banking services to banks, fintechs, financial operators, and merchants. The company has 70+ people in the Nordics and has close to 10 million end users on their platform.
Enfuce, which is part of the fintech startups wave from the Nordics with unicorn ambitions, previously raised a little more than $11 million.
