Famly closed a €15.9 million investment led by Susquehanna Growth Equity.
Famly, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based developer of an all-in-one SaaS platform for families, announced the completion of a €15.9 million ($18M) capital funding round.
The money was raised from investors led by the American private equity firm Susquehanna Growth Equity and joined by existing investors including the Zendesk founder Alexander Aghassipour, and Just Eat’s ex-CEO and TechBBQ co-founder Klaus Nyengaard.
Famly, founded in 2013 by CEO Anders Laustsen and Henrik Møller Rasmussen, developed a SAAS solution for education providers aiming to help parents with a social media-style news feed with highlights from the day, as well as a place to message and collaborate with their children’s teachers to help them continue their education at home. The solution is in use by 3,500 early education sites across the UK, Germany, Scandinavia, and the US, has over 400k parent users, and 63k educational staff users.
