Fast Travel Games in a SEK 34 million capital raise round led by Brightly Ventures.
Fast Travel Games, a Stockholm, Sweden-based gaming company, announced the completion of a SEK 34 million ($4M) funding round.
The money was raised from a new investor from Sweden, the local VC Brightly Ventures, joined by existing shareholders Industrifonden, Creades and Inbox Capital.
Proceeds will be used as the company says it is currently working on multiple new projects that are exclusive to VR, including a VR horror game based on the Wraith side of the World of Darkness tabletop universe.
Fast Travel Games, founded in 2016 by gaming veterans Oskar Burman, Kristoffer Benjaminsson and Erik Odeldahl, is a game development studio building virtual reality games. The company's titles include The Oblivion – Afterlife and Apex Construct, which produced around $2.4 million in revenues in 2020.
Fast Travel Games previously raised $2.1 million in 2017.
