Finch 3D secured SEK 5M in a seed investment round.

Finch 3D, a Malmö, Sweden-based software developer for architects, announced that it completed a capital investment round of SEK 5M ($540k).

The funding was provided by local investors from Sweden, matched with 3 million by the Swedish governmental agency Almi Invest.

Finch 3D was founded in 2019 by Pamela Nunez Wallgren, Jesper Wallgren and Martin Kretz as a design tool that automatically generates floor plans. The tool is a a plugin to a visual programming tool called Grasshopper and is useful for architects - they enter a site’s parameters and Finch 3D generates floor plans. The beta version of Finch has been in  beta use by two architectural offices, Gensler and Aedas.
