Formel Skin in a €30 million Series A round backed by Singular.

Formel Skin, a Berlin, Germany-based DTC producer of dermatology products, announced closing a €30 million ($34M) Series A round.

The money was raised from investors led by Singular, with participation from Heal Capital and existing investors Cherry Ventures, Heartcore Capital, and Vorwerk Ventures.

Formel Skin, founded as True Skin at the end of 2019 by Anton Kononov and Florian Semler, aims to create a new solution against skin impurities using a holistic approach and medical care together with dermatologist, Dr. Sarah Bechstein. Based on that, the company offers medical and science-based solutions to effectively tackle a broad set of dermatological conditions (e.g. acne). The products are customized according to the medical needs and skin conditions of individuals after an online check-up with dermatologists.

Formel Skin raised $6 million in January 2021 and was preseeded by Heartcore and Cherry Ventures.
