Freedrum is a Malmö-startup that sold drumkits in total value of more than $400k on Kickstarter in 2 weeks.

Freedrum started the Kickstarter campaign a few weeks ago, aiming for drumkit orders of $150k. Two weeks before the deadline, they are close to almost 3 times as much in orders value.

Freedrum, developed by design agency Block Zero from Malmö, is a virtual drumkit that fits in your pocket. The sensors from the wearable are connected to the drumsticks and are paired with the smartphone.

The product shipping is scheduled for the second part of 2017.
