Gofido to raise SEK 30 million from Jula Holding.

Gofido, a Stockholm, Sweden-based insurance broker provider, announced that it raised SEK 30 million ($3.5 million) in capital funding.

The money was raised from the local wholesale operator Jula Holding. The deal is part of a larger partnership, whereas Jula will distribute Gofido's products.

Gofido was founded in 2019 by a group of former employees of the local company Avanza, namely Claes Hemberg, Annika Saramies (CEO) Stefan Mahlstein and Gertrud Hack. They put together a insurance brokerage operation, selling mainly home insurance products - the company is also under the supervision of Finansinspektionen in accordance with the Act on Insurance Distribution.

Gofido previously raised $850k in February 2021.
