Happeo announced $26 million in a Series B funding round led by Endeit Capital, Smartfin and Evli Growth Partners.

Happeo, a Helsinki, Finland-based company providing a B2B software solution for internal communication, announced the completion of a $26 million capital investment round.

The money was provided by a range of investors led by Endeit Capital, Smartfin and Evli Growth Partners, joined by existing shareholders INKEF Capital, DN Capital, Maki.vc and Vendep Capital.

As a result of this funding, Happeo will be investing in its product and development teams, and on further expansion in North America, while retaining its strong position in its home market of Europe.

Happeo, initially named Universe, was founded in 2017 as a spinoff from the Finnish software company Gapps and is led by CEO Perttu Ojansuu. The company renamed in 2018 as it developed a combination of enterprise social network, company news feed and intranet system. The platform helps internal communicators to connect with employees in new ways, bringing together intranet, collaboration, and social networking into one unified solution.

Prior to this round, in 2020, Happeo raised a $12 million capital investment round led by Inkef and in 2018, it raised $8 million from DN Capital, Maki.vc, and Vendep Capital.
