Homesearch completed a £5 million Series A funding round with Octopus Ventures

Homesearch, a London, UK-based software startup developing a solution for the real estate agencies, announced completing a seed funding round closed at £5m ($6.8M).

The money was raised from investors led by Octopus Ventures.

Homesearch, founded in 2017 by CO Giles Ellwood, developed a software tool with access to a property data and prospecting system where real estate agents can find, target, and research the housing market using comprehensive property data. The company says it handles business for thousand leading independent estate agents, with paying customers including Knight Frank, Hamptons, Kinleigh Folkard & Hayward.
