incident.io raised capital funding.

incident.io, a Berlin, Germany-based developer of a SAAS used for reporting and managing incidents across companies, announced closing a $4.7 million funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by Index Ventures and Point Nine Capital, joined by multiple angel investors including Monzo founders Tom Blomfield and Jonas Templestein, Eileen Burbidge of Passion Capital, Renaud Visage, the co-founder of Eventbrite, Hiroki Takeuchi of GoCardless and Vinay Hiremath of Loom.

incident.io, founded in 2021 by Christopher Evans, Pete Hamilton and Stephen Whitworth, developed a cloud-based security and information management systems. It offers web-based software solutions to monitor and manage incidents. The tool was initially developed as a Slack bot integrated in Slack and used as a central dashboard for reporting and managing incidents across companies.
