Indeez raised $9.2 million in a Series A round led by Elaia Ventures.
Indeez, a Paris, France-based insurance seller announced completing series A closed at $9.2 million.
The money was raised from investors led by the French VC Elaia, and joined by existing shareholders Mosaic Ventures and a group of angel investors including Andreas Neuber, Christof Kutscher, Jon McNeill, Curtis Scott, Frederic Tardy, Julien Codorniou, and Oleg Tscheltzoff.
Indeez, founded in 2020 by CEO Vikas Chhariya, sells income protection insurance service products, aiming to offer a safety net to independent workers who source work through work marketplaces, providing income protection directly through these platforms. The products include protection benefits for liability, work accidents, sick pay, and other everyday business interruptions faced by platform workers.
Indeez previously raised around $3.5 million from Mosaic Ventures at the beginning of 2021.
