Klang raises $9M million in Series A funding from Northzone, Makers Fund, Novator, and firstminute capital.

Klang, an Icelanding gaming company headquartered in Berlin, Germany, announced securing $9M in an series A investment round.

The investors were led by Northzone, with additional support from Makers Fund, Novator, and Firstminute Capital and the money will be used to will support the development of the company's new massively multiplayer online (MMO) title, Seed.

Klang, founded in 2013 by Ivar Emilsson, Mundi Vondi and Oddur Snær Magnússon, is an independent game development studio working on a persistent simulation game, Seed, a MMO that offers the players to colonise a planet together.

Prior to this the company raised $5M in capital, from investors including London Venture Partners, Novator, Greylock or Mosaic Ventures
