Kodit, a Helsinki, Finland-based company providing real estate brokerage services based on an AI-powered platform, announced that it closed a €1.7M ($2M) capital investment funding round.

The money was provided by new and existing investors, including Speedinvest, Schibsted and Icebreaker, and will be used to expand the business in Europe.

Kodit, founded in 2017 as Homerun Technologies and run by CEO Kalle Salmi, developed a real estate platform that acts as a residential real estate pricing tool and provides a service helping people buy and sell apartments. The process involves giving a flat-rate offer to seller based on conditions and location and if it gets involved in buying the property, renovates it and handles sales through real estate brokers. Presently, the service has so far bought 80 homes in the Helsinki metropolitan area, Turku, Tampere and Tallinn.

Prior to this deal, Kodit raised capital from Icebreaker in 2017.

Total investments received (USD): 29.12M
