Kodland in a $9 million series A funding round led by Redseed Ventures.
Kodland, a London, UK-based startup providing coding skill courses for kids, announced completing a $9 million series A funding round.
The money was raised from investors led by Italy's Redseed Ventures, and joined by Baring Vostok, Kismet, Flyer One Ventures and Alexander Nevinsky, a partner at New York-based I2BF.
Kodland, founded in 2018 by Aleksandr Nosulich and Oleg Kheyfets, provides remote courses for children aged 6-17 willing to learn digital skills like computer programming. The company says it has onboarded 1,000 teachers which taught 16,000 children, with courses available in the UK, Ireland, North America, CIS Region, Malaysia, Indonesia and Argentina. It also provides proprietary localized content for each target region.
