Leapwork, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based company providing SAAS via an automation platform for companies, announced that it secured $10M in capital investment.

The money was provided by the German venture company e.ventures and by the British venture company DN Capital. Funding will be used to expand US sales operations and for product development.

Leapwork, founded as Leaptest in 2015 by CEO Christian Brink Frederiksen and Claus Topholt, started from the vision of a low-code / no-code software application to automate processes. As such, they launched in 2017 an entirely visual system, backed by a modern tech stack, which enables non-technical people to train software robots to handle repetitive and mundane tasks.

Instead of using developer time, staff automate tasks themselves, without writing any code, with a simple user interface, estimated to save 75% of an employee’s time.

Leapwork has half of the business generated from US, with clients such as banks, healthcare firms, aerospace and software companies. The company is based in Copenhagen and has offices in London, San Francisco, Minsk (Belarus) and Gurugram (India).

Prior to this round, Leapwork added angel investment from Henrik Lottrup in 2017. Henrik Lottrup is currently chairman of the board.
