Levity raised $1.7 million in a pre-seed funding round led by Angular Ventures
Levity, a Berlin, Germany-based software startup, announced the completion of a seed investment round of $1.7 million.
The money was raised from investors led by Israel-based venture firm Angular Ventures and included contributions from System. One, Discovery Ventures, and angel investor from Germany Martin Henk.
Levity, founded in 2018 by Gero Keil (CEO) and Thilo Hüllmann, developed a software platform helping users to design AI-powered workflows that recognize and classify documents, images or text by simply dropping examples of their data into the system and training custom solutions.
These can then be integrated with hundreds of other tools like Gmail, Dropbox, and Slack. At the same time, the software takes care of the AI and automation aspects, which would alternatively have to be handled by a data science team.
