Lifeline Robotics secures more funding in the company.

Lifeline Robotics, an Odense, Denmark-based producer of a throat swabbing robot for COVID-19 testing, completed a capital investment raise.

The money was privided by new and existing investors, including Norrsken VC, Science Venture Denmark and angel investors from Denmark Helge Munk and Esben Østergaard.

Lifeline Robotics, founded in 2020 by Richa Hallundbæk Misri, Søren Stig and Esben Østergaard as a spin-out of the Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller Institute at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU), created an autonomous throat swabbing robot to test for the novel coronavirus.
