Loxysoft raises SEK 10M to expand internationally its SAAS
Loxysoft, an Östersund-based company providing software systems for contact center, telemarketing and workforce management, announced securing SEK 10M ($1.2M) in an equity investment round.
The money comes from Almi Invest, half of it, and other local investors, including Mic Invest. The funding will be used primarily to finance the company expansion, primarily in the United States.
Loxysoft, founded in 2014 and led by CEO Tobias Sjölander, develops and sells support systems for customer service and other contact centers. The company has about 250 customers in Sweden and about 60 in Norway, including banks, telecom operators and insurance companies with customer support, sales and crew support systems.
The solutions are offered both as Software as a Service (SaaS) and proprietary, but the trend is increasingly pointing to SaaS.
Prior to this deal, the company received funding from Swedish state-owned Inlandsinnovation.
