Micuento to raise €2.5 million from Impact Partners

Micuento, a Barcelona, Spain-based startup providing media content for kids, announced that it secured capital funding of €2.5 million ($3M).

The money was raised from investors from France Impact Partners.

Micuento, founded in 2013 by Muriel Bourgeois and Javier Falcó, has developed a reading platform where children become the main characters in their favorite stories and invite their friends and family to be part of interactive books.

Micuento previously raised money from Intelectium Ventures, Banc de Sabadell, Institut Calatà de Finances or the Institut Català d'Empreses Culturals, and angel investors from Spain.
