Motimate announced raising NOK 30M from existing investors.
Motimate, an Oslo, Norway-based SAAS developer, announced that it completed a NOk 30M ($3.3M) capital raise.
The money was provided by existing investors in the company. Post deal, the founders control between 10 and 15% of the shares.
Motimate, founded in 2017 by Lars-Petter Windelstad Kjos and Rolf Risnes (CEO), built a SaaS solution providing digital platforms for training and internal communication in the corporate market. The platform is in use by 150k people from 160 customers all over the world, including DNB, Skatteetaten, Varner-gruppen, TV 2 and Jernia.
Prior to this round, in 2019, Motimate raised about $2M from investors including Stayer Invest and Investinor.
