n8n in a $12 million investment round led by Felicis Ventures
n8n, a Berlin, Germany-based SAAS developer of a workflow automation tool, announced the completion of $12 million Series A funding round.
The money was raised from investors led by Felicis Ventures with participation from Sequoia Capital, firstminute Capital, and Harpoon Ventures and angels Kevin Hartz, Co-Founder of Eventbrite and Ilkka Paananen, Supercell CEO and Founder.
The proceeds will be used for product development, hiring more people hire across functions including engineering, developer relations, and for sales and marketing.
n8n, founded in 2019 by CEO Jan Oberhauser, built a free and open node-based workflow automation tool which can be self-hosted, extended, and used with third-party web applications or custom in-house tools to automate repetitive tasks.
It offers API connectors to more than 200 different apps, and users can add their own or extend existing connectors via the source code, which is accessible. In addition to automating business processes, the product can also be used as a backend for low code products or services. n8n says it already has a community of 16,000 users, contributors and advocates.
n8n previously raised $1.5 million from Seqoia, firstminute and a group of angel investors.
