NovaKid raised $35 million in a Series B financing round led by Owl Ventures and Goodwater Capital.
Novakid, a Krakow, Poland-based company buidling a business based on a digital educational platform for kids, announced securing series B equity fundraising at $35 million.
The money was raised from investors led by Owl Ventures and Goodwater Capital and joined by existing shareholders PortfoLion, LearnStart, TMT Investments, Xploration Capital, LETA Capital and BonAngels.
Novakid, founded in 2017 by CEO Maxim Azarov, built an online English language school aimed at children aged 4-12 years, where all qualified teachers are native speakers. The lessons are taught online via a digital platform that also provides access to gamification technologies and are aimed for 4-12 years old kids based in countries where English is not a primary spoken language. The company says it handles around 50k students, and produced revenue of around $9 million in 2020.
Novakid previously raised $4.25 million in November 2020, out of a total of $6.5M.
