omocom raised $4 million in a round co-led by Inventure and Mustard Seed Maze.
Omocom, a Stockholm, Sweden-based provider of on-demand microinsurance services, announced raising €3.7 million ($4M) in capital funding.
The round was co-led by Finland-based investor Inventure and Lisbon-based social impact fund Mustard Seed MAZE. Alma Mundi Insurtech Fund, Luminar Ventures, and undisclosed angel investors were also part of the fuding.
Omocom, founded in 2017 as Intakt Insurance and later renamed Sharin by Emanuel Badehi Kullander, Ola Lowden Landström (CEO) and Tobias Mård, built and sells an insurance product based on proprietary algorithms that calculate real-time risk assessments from digital platforms. The company claims to have around 15k customers.
Prior to this round, Omocom secured 1 million euro in 2019.
