Origin secured $5 million in a seed round led by Project A with Cavalry Ventures.

Origin, an Amsterdam, Netherlands startup building a membership travel service that creates completely individual, personalised trips, announced closing a $5M seed funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by a German VC firm Project A, joined by Cavalry Ventures and angel investors David Rosenthal (cohost of Acquired), Brad Klingenberg (CAO of Daily Harvest and previously StitchFix), and John Johnson (co-founder of Buzzfeed).

Origin, founded in 2021 by Eli Bressert and Tamar van de Paal, is building a customized service business serving discerning travellers who yearn for tailored and unique experiences. The platform personalises trips to every traveller’s needs and ensures the vacations fit their tastes while exploring new and delightful experiences.
