Plaio to raise a $2.25M pre-series A investment round by Frumtak Ventures.
Plaio, a Reykjavík, Iceland-based software startup developing a supply chain planning tool for generic pharmaceutical manufacturers, announced the completion of a $2.25 million pre-seed funding round.
The money was raised locally in Iceland, from Frumtak Ventures.
Plaio, founded in 2021 by CEO Johann Guðbjargarson, developed a software solution that digitises demand, manufacturing, and purchase planning for generic pharmaceutical manufacturers, for agile manufacturing operations and precision product output. The company says it already works with customers like MS Pharma and Coripharma, which have been validating the software for over two years.
