ProLøn was acquired by Visma.

ProLøn, a Randers, Denmark-based company providing payroll software services, announced that it was acquired by the Norwegian firm Visma.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition will expand Visma's offering of ERP-systems for SMBs in Denmark, as it will integrate ProLøn products into its own solution, e-conomic. ProLøn will be part of the SMB division in the Visma group and will continue as an independent entity under the ProLøn brand.

ProLøn, led by CEO Finn Conradsen, has built cloud-based tools for SMBs and their payroll service providers. The company is supported by 31 employees helping Danish companies streamline their payroll administration.
