ReMoni raised $2.9M from Danish angel investor Kenneth Iversen.
ReMoni, an Aarhus, Denmark-based manufacturer of smart IoT sensors for tracking data in manufacturing facilities, announced that it raised DKK 20M ($3M) in capital investment.
The funding was provided by angel investor from Denmark Kenneth Iversen, who will control a third of the company's shares. The majority is still owned by founder Bo Eskerod Madsen, while the employees sit on the remaining 5%.
ReMoni (which is short for remote engineering), founded in 2014 and led by CEO Bo Eskerod Madsen, developed a technical solution based on smart sensors capable of tracking data from technical installations such as production units, pumps, motors, ventilation, pipes, heaters and coolers. The solution monitors resource consumption in the form of water, heat and energy both in homes and businesses.
