Scrive was acquired by Vitruvian Partners
Scrive, a Stockholm, Sweden-based digital signature and identity solutions business, announced getting into an investment agreement for getting the British private equity investor Vitruvian Partners as a new owner in the company.
The deal, which has financial details undisclosed, involves a secondary transaction as Vitruvian had bought with management all of the company’s outstanding shares from non-active shareholders. In addition to that, Vitruvian will also finance the company via a capital raise to finance further growth and expansion in Europe.
Scrive, founded in 2010 and led by CEO Viktor Wrede, is a developer of an e-sign and eID platform to drive agreements-based business processes, emphasising security, data quality and customer experience. Scrive’s customers include Avis, DNB, Fabege, Volkswagen and Telenor, and processes more than 20 million documents on its platform each year.
