Seedtag in a $40 million series B backed by Oakley Capital
Seedtag, a Madrid, Spain-based developer of contextual advertising solutions, announced that it has secured $40 million in Series B funding.
The deal was led by Oakley Capital, which took a major chunk of the company as it contributed with 35 million. Adara Ventures and All Iron Ventures also were contributors to the round.
Seedtacg, founded in 2014 by Albert Nieto, Jorge Poyatos and Pablo López Torres, develops contextual advertising for brands and agencies. The company is active in EMEA and LATAM, and intends to use the raised funds to now expand into the US market and continue investing in its contextual AI technology.
Seedtacg previously raised $5.2 million in a Series A funding round closed in 2017.
