Semine, a Kristiansand, Norway-based startup developing a software as a service solution for the financial industry, secured $1.2 million in capital investment.

The funding was provided by existing investor Kistefos Venture Capital.

Semine, developed by Bilagos in 2015 by Jardar Føreland Pedersen, developed a full automation SAAS for accounting. The company works with big accounts as well as with technology partners and their developers, providing them with a solution to standardize the most labor-intensive financial object, using a semantic model for the classification of the invoice, and populate AI-models in order to enable automation.

Prior to this round, in 2019, Semine raised €6M in a deal where it added Amesto as investor in the company.

Total investments received (USD): 19.65M
