Sharpist to raise €4.6 million from Vorwerk Ventures, btov Partners and APX.
Sharpist, a Berlin, Germany-based developer of a platform for personalised employee learning and development, announced that it has raised €4.6 million ($5M) in seed financing.
The money was raised from investors led by Vorwerk Ventures, and included contributions from co-investors btov Partners and APX.
As part of the investment, Holger Witte, Partner at Vorwerk Ventures, will join Sharpist’s Advisory Board.
Sharpist, founded in 2018 Dominik Lahmann, Fabian Niedballa, Hendrik Schriefer (CEO) and Gunter Dueck, developed a software tool that aims to help employees stay on top of their continuous development at work, in an engaging way.
The tool is sold to other companies looking to have their emplyees at all levels and stages of their careers grow and develop, using a global network of world-class executive coaches, personalised development plans, and a mobile-first platform that can be accessed anywhere, anytime. Customers include Allianz, Porsche, CBRE and others.
