Skillbreak, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company operating a community marketplace for workshops, announced closing in a capital investment round.

The money was provided by Wellstreet and angel investors, matched by the SWedish state agency Saminvest.

Skillbreak, founded in 2016 by Lina Johansson and Matilda Hannäs (CEO), built a community marketplace for people to list, discover, and book unique and local learning experiences. The platform matches creators in design, art and crafts with people who want to learn new skills. The experts share their skills in their own homes, studios and workshops and they get tools to make money from their skills.
