Solfeg.io raised €880k in a round led by Iron Wolf Capital.
Solfeg.io, a Riga, Latvia-based startup building a music training application, announced that it raised €880k ($1M) in capital funding.
The money was raised from investors led by Iron Wolf Capital, joined by 12 private investors including Ann. C. Brady, Emil Sjödin, Gatis Dukurs, Artis Kehris and Jānis Šlēziņš, as well as the educational accelerator LearnLaunch Accelerator and the Swedish acceleration fund Fast Track Capital.
Solfeg.io, founded by CEO Toms Rusovs and Lauma Kazaka, developed a mobile app that helps teachers inspire young people in music classes using popular songs. The app is currently used in more than 15 thousand schools in 117 countries around the world. About half of the app’s users are in the United States. In addition, more than 450 new schools register at Solfeg.io monthly.
