Swipload secured NOK 8 million in a convertible note backed by Skagerak, TheFactory and DSD.

Swipload, a Kristiansand, Norway-based operator of a logistics marketplace, raised NOK 8 million ($800k) in a convertible note.

The money was raised from local investors from Norway, including DSD, Skagerak and TheFactory.

Swipload, founded in 2019 by CEO Stian Vere, developed a marketplace acting as a digital freight forwarder that automatically matches road transport needs with available capacity. The solution has been developed as an app for companies and Norwegian carriers with a license, and provides access to features including digital ordering, digital tracking, chat, history, archive and automated invoicing.

Swipload previously raised half a million in 2021.
