Telemedico raises €5.5 million from Flashpoint Venture Capital, Uniqa Ventures, PKO VC, Black Pearls VC and Adamed.

Telemedico, a Warsaw, Poland-based telemedicine provider, announced that it secured a €5.5 million ($6.6M) capital funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by the UK-based Flashpoint Venture Capital and included contributions from Uniqa Ventures, PKO VC, Black Pearls VC and Adamed.

Telemedico, founded in 2014 by CEO Pawel Sieczkiewicz, built a business as an operator of an online medical consultation platform intended to provide patient-doctor communication.

The company has a B2B model, providing services as a white-label service for insurance companies to decrase medical cost. The service is backed by 600 doctors providing about 100k consultations per month and include consultations with a doctor via chat, video or telephone, AI-triaging and coordination, and booking of in-person visits and blood testing.
