Treble Technologies to raise ISK232M from investors from Iceland.
Treble Technologies, a Reykjavík, Iceland-based developer of sound design software, announced closing a ISK 232 million ($1.8M) capital funding round.
The money was raised from investors including Börkur Arnviðarsson founder of ChemoMetec, Omega ehf., Sigþór Sigmarsson of Novator Partners LLP and Trausti Kristjánsson.
Sigþór Sigmarsson will also join the company's board on behalf of the investor group.
Treble, founded in 2020 by CEO Finnur Pind, is working for the development of a software solution for the construction sector that enables designers and owners of buildings to shape the sound world and sound of their design. This solution makes it easier for them to make informed decisions about material choices, shapes and more based on accurate imitation and digital experience. The first product is planned to be launched in the second half of 2022 - the company says it's already working with partners including BIG Architects, COWI, Henning Larsen Architects and Saint-Gobain.
