Trengo in a $36 million Series A funding from Insight Partners and Peak.

Trengo, an Utrecht, Netherlands-based operator of an omnichannel communications platform, announced the completion of a $36 million series A fudning round.

The money was raised from investors led by  New York-based global private equity and venture capital firm Insight Partners and Peak Capital.

The proceeds will be used for accelerating international expansion, attracting talent and fueling further development of the technology-driven omnichannel communication platform.

Trengo, founded in 2017 by CEO Patrick Meutzner and Marcel van de Weerd, developed a platform that combines all communication channels in one environment, boosting customer service and the internal team collaboration of organizations. The company says it handles business for 2,000 customers including Europcar, Yobbers, OPPO and Pon Porsche Dealergroep, processing more than 12,5 million messages per month for more than 20.000 users.

Trengo previously raised $2 million from Peak Capital in 2020.
