Wild Cosmetics raised £5 million from investors led by JamJar Investments.
Wild Cosmetics, a London, UK-based producer of a natural deodorant, raised a new funding round closed at £5 million ($6.8M).
The money was raised from existing investors led by Jam Jar Investments, and joined by Creator Collective Capital, Slingshot Ventures and by some online influencers including Niomi Smart, Grace Beverley, and Caspar Lee.
Wild Cosmetics, founded in 2019 by Charlie Bowes-Lyon and Freddy Ward, is a direct to consumer start-up selling natural personal care products with sustainability at their core. The company launched a Natural Deodorant range in April 2020, a stylish, single-use plastic free and gender neutral line of scented, effective natural deodorants.
The products come with a reusable aluminium case available in four metallic shades – aqua, purple, coral and silver – colours that recall the latest must-have tech accessory. Made in Bournemouth, the biodegradable deodorant comes in a bamboo pulp refill that’s inserted into the case via a simple twist mechanism.
Wild Cosmetics previouslay secured a £2 million seed in 2020 and raised £500k in February 2020.
