Woila, a Stockholm, Sweden-based operating a SAAS service that saves consumers money after digital purchases, announced in a press release securing capital investment of SEK 30 million ($3.1M).

The funding was supported and led by Schibsted Growth. Existing shareholders, including Niklas Söderholm, Anna Benjamin and Jonas Bonde, will also participate in the round.

The money will be used to scale up the organization, launch new products and for international expansion.

Woilà, founded in 2016 by Wilhelm Schenning, Carl Enbom, Jonas Friman and Rickard Bergeling, developed an automated service that tracks price changes occuring after an online shopping transaction. When the price drops, the consumer may be entitled to get money back from the store due to price guarantee and other policies.

The service, supported by 10 employees, was launched as an app in May 2019, and has since handled purchases worth SEK 200 million.

Prior to this round, Woila raised about $1M.
